PLEASE CONSERVE WATER

The recent rain has been a welcome relief to replenish our intake streams and importantly recharge groundwater. The events of the past few months with residents experiencing low water pressure to no water at all is a stark reminder that we are currently in our dry period.

There is still ongoing high-water usage on the island and we encourage everybody in our community to use water responsibly. Please repair leaks around your homes, businesses, plantations and shut off taps after use and don’t let water run continuously.

Please report leaks along the roadside or public areas to TTV.

An average tap left to run loses 6 litres of water per minute, 360 litres per hour and 8640 litres per day.

EVEN DRIPS WASTE WATER. LET’S BE WATER WISE
